Follow me on my journey to London as I study abroad this fall. In "A Long December" Counting Crows describes "the feeling that it's all a lot of oysters, but no pearls." I've had enough oysters and it's now my goal to get more pearls.

[Day 48] Hellooooo

The past week has literally been crazy. I seriously haven't even had to the time to update this. The last I wrote I went to the Senate House Library to get books for my History paper.

On Wednesday I didn't have class, but I worked on my paper and then went to Oxford St. to try to find Halloween costumes. Primark was crazy as usual. We had to change our original costume ideas, but they ended up being fantastic costumes anyway. I bought mine and Erin's for a total of 27 pounds and then she paid me for half of it, so I think it was a pretty good deal. I met Erin Wednesday night just before midnight at the tube station, she came to visit me from Geneva. :)

Thursday morning I had an English class, Representing London, and then Erin and I went to Camden Town with Talhah and Vijay. We shopped for a while and checked out the market, then tried to find the boys costumes for Halloween. We got back to my flat around 6 and took a short nap before our flat party.

Erin and I dressed up in costumes from Risky Business. We invited a bunch of people over to our flat for a party and everyone showed up around 9. It was so much fun! Definitely a great beginning to my birthday weekend :)

Here is a picture of me and Erin in costume:

I have to go right now though, I'll be sure to update tomorrow so I can fill in the rest of the weekend!
